Warburn Estates Sauvingon Blanc from South Australia. Would recommend to all of you who are awaiting spring as the grassy overtones of the wine are very apparent.

Thank you for this recommendation, I just went out and bought a bottle and polished it off with breakfast.
I thought the color was pleasant with a clear light green tinge.
The nose was intensely pungent with aromas of gooseberry and hints of freshly torn tomato leaves. I was surprised by the faint asparagus aromas which are unusual for a sav blanc.
The wine had an exhilarating blend of ripe tropical fruit flavors with a well balanced acidity finish.
I see serving this wine in the summer, accompanying fish and shellfish, or maybe spicy Asian salads or smoked chicken dishes.
